Customized Education

The PM4DEV certificate program provides you with a comprehensive training in development project management. To earn the certificate, you will select and complete three courses that best meet your individual learning objectives. You may also register for one or more individual courses if you are interested in specific topics in project management or want to learn a new skill.

Dedicated Instructors

Experienced, skilled instructors will guide you through a structured, interactive learning experience that features readings, interactive learning activities, discussion, and hands-on exercises. The work experiences of PM4DEV instructors cover a wide range of project management disciplines, and the personalized guidance provided throughout the course is relevant, insightful, and timely.

Valuable Experience

Your classmates will include other development professionals. Together you will share diverse insights that will deeply enrich your learning experience. Online PM4DEV courses allow you to meet, work with, and learn from development professionals from all over the globe. The online discussion forums are quite active and offer a great opportunity to learn from the experience of others.

Online Convenience

All PM4DEV courses are completely online. You will be able to log on at any time during the three weeks of the course. PM4DEV courses include weekly structured online discussions with your classmates and instructor. You can participate in the courses whenever your schedule allows, but you must meet due dates for weekly assignments and complete all assigned activities.

Competitive Fees

We use the latest Learning Management System that allows PM4DEV to offer each course for less than the competition. Each course provides 30-40 hours of learning and instruction over a three-week period. After completion of the course, you will receive a Certification of Completion. Once you complete all three courses you will receive the Certification in Development Project Manager mailed to your home address at no extra cost

Objectives:

Program participants will:

  • Acquire the soft skills, practices, and processes required to be a successfull project manager.
  • Develop analytical frameworks, communication techniques, and strategic planning skills.
  • Understand the use of the various tools and processes and the roles of the project manager.
  • Increase managerial insight to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and within scope.

Certification Levels:

Participants can choose any level that fits their experience and learning goals, the certification program consists of three levels:

  • CDPM® Level I - Advanced Certified Development Project Manager
  • CDPM® Level II - Expert Certified Development Project Manager
  • CDPM® Level III - Master Certified Development Project Manager

For professionals who want to start a career in development project management or a new in the role of project manager.

CDPM® Level I Program Requirements

Complete two mandatory courses

CDPM® Level II Program Requirements

Complete two mandatory courses

Total credit hours 120 hrs   (12 CEUs)

For professionals who want to take their project management skills and knowledge to a higher level.

CDPM® Level III Program Requirements

Complete two mandatory courses

Complete the suggested elective courses *

Total credit hours 150 hrs  (15 CEUs)

* These courses are elective, and you can choose from other courses of similar value.

Participants who successfully complete all the program requirements will receive the Certificate in Development Project Management from PM4DEV. This certificate will be mailed via the US Postal Service at no extra cost.

The CDPM® certification is a professional credential that demonstrates that you have successfully completed a training program with PM4DEV. The certificate is authored by certified project managers from PM4DEV using global standards in project management. CDPM®  is soon becoming a globally recognized project management certification in the development field.

Continuing Education Units (CEU). Each CEU equals 10 hours of participation. All courses provide 35 PDU's (Professional Development Units).

In 2013, PM4DEV became a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.to issue professional development units (PDU's) for its project management training courses. Our instructors are experienced trainers and project managers who are PMP® certified. Our comprehensive courses in project management theory, fundamentals, principles, and practices are designed around industry best practices and based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®Guide). We are confident in our ability to provide comprehensive, practical courses that will enable you to further your project management education.
