○ Updated e-course
We have completely updated our ecourse Fundamentals of Project Management. This fee based e-course will be available November 1, 2012 in our new learning site (Moodle). This new course provides a collaborative method to learn the elements of modern project management concepts specially designed for international development organizations, donor and public institutions, non profit and community based organizations. Upon the successful completion of the courses, students will earn a Certificate of Completion from PM4DEV.
This course is designed for all people that want to start a career in development project management, including professionals wishing to upgrade their skills and knowledge, team members, managers of project managers and students of project management. Participants to our courses com from various parts of the world, a medium level of reading and writing English is recommended.

○ Online LMS winner
We are happy to announce that PM4DEV's state of the art Learning Management Systems (LMS) eFront, has won the Best of eLearning Award. We congratulate eFront for this great achievement. PM4DEV has been using eFront for the past 4 years to host all self-paced courses. The LMS was chosen due to its features and graphical interface that makes course navigation easier to students.

○ New Online Learning Site - Moodle
PM4DEV will launch a new Online Learning Site that will host all of our project management courses. The system is based on Moodle 2.0, a leading Learning Management System (LMS) used worldwide by organizations of all sizes. Moodle enables functions such as community learning, discussion forums, supports the principle of collective knowledge and provides functionality towards personalized learning. The courses in this platform a have a duration between 2 and 4 weeks, a schedule will be announced to allow registration.

○ Ecuador Training
PM4DEV is in Ecuador!
PM4DEV’s first effort to develop the Ecuadorian market exceeded its own expectation. The marketing activities to promote our “Open to the public Fundamentals of Project Management 2-day course” generated great interest in the development community in Ecuador. We got over 300 new registrations to our newsletter during the first 5 days of promoting our events, and we continue to discuss long-term relationships and consulting engagement opportunities with Ecuadorian prospects. Numerous organizations including local foundations, international development and relief organizations, USAID agencies, government and community based organizations called upon our outreach efforts very enthusiastically.
